Brain cancer survivor
Hamid (54 - year old) was very weak and thin, only remaining skin covering bone. His five senses were disabled. His libido was nearly died. They were caused by tumor cells laid at his brain. He had radiation many times, but it could not make tumor cell inactive. Furthermore, that wild tissue bigger and bigger that caused him could do nothing.
It has been about a year Hamid, a man from Enrekang South Sulawesi, just recognized the presence of wild disease at his brain tissue. During that period of time he suffered from disease. He was painful and headache. That of sickness was followed with functionless of his five senses. His tongue was no longer able to differentiate taste. In addition, his conversation was not fluent due to stiff tongue. His Remembering and hearing capability decreased. Cross vision caused him headache when he opened eye. He was more suffering from disease when his sexual desirous decrease.
His brain was always in trouble. "I thought that was only caused by stress due to working," he explained. When he felt heavy headache in May 2003, he immediately visited his general doctor. He explained to the doctor about his hypertension.
Having intensive examination, the doctor promptly sent him to Emergency Unit of Dian Harapan Hospital, Jayapura. "You get serious disease, this hospital is not proper," the doctor said as imitated by Hamid.
Day by day he only laid down his body on bed of the hospital. He laid down on bed almost 8 days, but there was no change. He was not only suffered from headache, but also almost all of his body was weak and stiff. Therefore, he finally made up his mind to control with internists. Due to undetected disease source, his doctor suggested him to go medication with acupuncture at the Naval Hospital, Jayapura. During a month acupuncture needles poured into his body, but, he still suffered from his disease. Due to his desirousness, he turned to specialist of ear, nose and throat (THT). The THT specialist sent him to the hospital at Makassar with more complete equipments.
Due to his motivation to cure his disease, then he departed to Makassar. In this hospital he finally found the answer. Result of intensive examinations showed that tumor cell occupied his brain tissue. He must go with intensive treatment in the hospital.
Wild tissue that occupied Hamid’s brain tissue time by time would press central nerve system in line with its growth. And it would result on eye, ear, or tongue organs obstructions. In addition, function of some five senses organs could reduce as well when central nerve was squeezed. If this is not cured, it will cause interruption to metabolism system. As a result, body will get anemia, weak, less weight, and body immune system decreased. Therefore, victim needed to get intensive treatment.
Hamid must stay in the hospital for two months. Beside having intensive treatment, he must get 35 times routine radiations to kill tumor. Unfortunately, he still not yet recovered from his diseases. In fact, after hospitalized, he got out hospital treatment for 5 months. At last, he decided to back to Jayapura with weak condition.
He made decision to return to Jayapura due to financial reason. "Let you know, one radiation costs Rp 350.000 he explained. "there were also other medications and living cost when he had been in Makassar,' he said.
He got a new hope when he met Salong, an employee of Dian Harapan Hospital - Jayapura, who was recognized by Hamid when he was hospitalized in the hospital. Salong suggested him to tried consuming buah merah oil. "Many cancer victims are recovered by consuming that fruit oil," Salong said.
